PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1305 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton recommending <br />to the City Council the approval of RZ-74-8. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Spivak Development Company <br />to rezone from the C-F (Commercial Freeway) <br />District to the C-C (Community Commercial) <br />District at the junction of Santa Rita and <br />Tassajara Roads in Pleasanton has come before <br />this Commission, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has held a public hearing on this <br />application and has examined pertinent maps, <br />drawings and documents and has made the <br />following findings: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not <br />be contrary to the spirit and intent of <br />the General Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the <br />public interest and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates <br />a more equitable condition for the community <br />than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton does hereby find that <br />said rezoning request is in conformance with <br />the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton <br />and does hereby recommend to the City Council <br />the adoption of RZ-74-8 by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Carrigan, Wood <br />and Chairman Pereira <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Commissioners McLain and <br />Pons <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Harris <br />DATE: July 10, 1974 <br />ATTEST: <br />^, R <br />Rober~. arras, Secretary L.
