PLANNING COMMSSION <br />Pleasanton, Ca~~.fornia <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1307 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton recommending <br />to the City Council the adoption of RZ-74-10. <br />aHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton to pre zone from <br />A (Agx-icultural as defined by the zoning <br />code of the County of Alameda) District to <br />Q (Roc];, Sand and Gravel Extraction) District <br />an area cif approximately 1,750 acres bounded <br />on the north by the Arroyo Mocho and a line <br />representing its eastern extension between <br />the northern extension of Martin Avenue and <br />the eastern u.~ndary line of the East Bay <br />Regional Park District; on the east by the <br />eastern boundary of the East Bay Park District <br />and the western boundary of the Livermore Park <br />and Recreation District; on the south by the <br />channel of the Arroyo del Valle, Shadow Cliffs <br />Regional Park, Stanley Boulevard and the City <br />Limit line of the City of Pleasanton; and on <br />the west by Martin Avenue and its northern and <br />southern extensions has come before this <br />Commission, and, <br />~ the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has held a public hearing on this <br />application and has examined pertinent maps, <br />drawings and documents and has made the follow- <br />ing findings: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the <br />General Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the <br />public interest and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates <br />a more equitable condition for the community <br />than now prevails. <br />THEREFORE, BE ZT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton does hereby find that <br />said prezoning application will not be in <br />conflict with the General Plan of the City <br />of Pleasanton and does hereby recommend to <br />the City Council the adoption of RZ-74-10 <br />subject to the following amendment: <br />
