PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1309 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission recomme~ ing <br />to the City Council the adoption of GP-74-8. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Valley Memorial Hospital to amend <br />the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton from <br />Institutions, Limited Industrial, General Industrial <br />and High Density Residential to Institutions, Pro- <br />fessional and Administrative Offices and High Density <br />Residential, for that approximately 54.8 acres of land <br />Located between Santa Rita Road, W. Las Positas <br />Boulevard, the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks and <br />the Tassajara Canal, has come before this Commission, <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has <br />held a public hearing on this application, and has <br />examined pertinent maps, drawings and documents and <br />finds that one or more of the following findings can <br />be made: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equit- <br />able condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council the <br />adoption of GP-74-8, as petitioned. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton on <br />the 14th day of August, 1974, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: <br />Commissioners McLain, Wood and <br />Chairman Pereira <br />Commissioners Garrigan and Pons <br />Secretary Harris <br />Date: August 14, 1974 <br />Attest: <br />,~ ~ti~o`: <br />Robert J.
