PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1311 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council <br />the adoption of RZ-74-11, pertaining to the amendment <br />of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />related to permitted and conditionally permitted <br />uses in the C-S (Commercial Service) District. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has <br /> considered an amendment to Section 2-7.08 (a ), Article <br /> 8, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the <br /> City of Pleasanton relating to permitted and condition- <br /> ally permitted uses in the C-S (Commercial Service) <br /> District, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has <br /> held a public hearing on this matter and has examined <br /> pertinent maps, drawings and information. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City <br /> of Pleasanton does recommend to the City Council the <br /> adoption of RZ-74-11, as follows: <br /> Section 1. Subsection (a) of 2-7.08 (Permitted and <br /> Conditional Usea), Article 8, Chapter 2, Title II of the <br /> Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br /> amended by deleting the following uses as permitted <br /> uses in the C-S (Commercial Service) District: <br />1. Florists. <br />2. Gunsmiths. <br />3. Hobby Shops. <br />4. Laundries, self-service type. <br />5. Locksmiths. <br />6. Massage and physical culture studios. <br />7. Picture framing shops. <br />8. Self-service laundries and self-service dry <br />cleaning establishments. <br />9. Shoe repair. <br />10. Telegraph offices. <br />Section 2. Subsection (a) of 2-7.08, Article 8, <br />Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City <br />of Pleasanton is hereby amended by deleting the follow- <br />ing uses as conditionally permitted uses in the C-S <br />(Commercial Service) District: <br />1. Music and dance studios. <br />Section 3. Subsection (a) of 2-7.08, Article 8, <br />Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City <br />of Pleasanton is hereby amended by the addition of the <br />following use as a permitted use in the C-S (Commercial <br />Service) District: <br />1. Furniture stores. <br />
