PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1314 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton approving UP-74-15. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Manuel Valdez, Jr., fora con- <br />ditional use permit to allow the construction of <br />two horse arenas on a parcel approximately eighty <br />acres in size, at 2510 Foothill Road; the subject <br />property being in the A (Agricultural) District, <br />has come before this Commission, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has <br />held a public hearing on this application and has <br />examined pertinent maps, drawings and documents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton hereby approves said application, subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. That no more than twenty-five horses be boarded on <br />the subject property at any one time; that the appli- <br />cant quarter no more than fifteen personally owned <br />horses, and that the total number of horses on the <br />site not exceed forty animals at any one time. <br />2. That the two arenas be used solely by the Valdez' <br />and their boarders and that the activities which take <br />place in them be limited to riding and training only. <br />That no public events such as horse shows, gymkhanas, <br />etc., be carried out at any location on the site. <br />3. That this permit be subject to immediate suspension <br />or revocation should the boarding of horses or use of <br />the arenas create nuisances to surrounding property <br />owners or residents due to the generation of noise, <br />dust, odors, insects or the creation of other envir- <br />onmental or social problems. <br />4. That no more than ten horses be corralled or <br />stabled in any one location; that the remaining horses <br />be allowed to roam the entire eighty (80) acre site <br />freely unless corralled or stabled in separate loca- <br />tions scattered evenly throughout the site. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton on <br />the 11th day of September, 1974, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: <br />Commissioners Carrigan, McLain, Wood <br />and Chairman Pereira <br />Secretary Harris <br />Date: September 11, 1974 <br />Attest: <br />1~~y <br />Robert J.
