PLANNING COMMISSION City of Pleasanton RESOLUTION N0. 1315 A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton approving UP=74-16. WHEREAS, the application of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lasater for a conditional use permit to allow the keeping of rabbits on a residential lot located at 6538 Mason Court; zoning for the property being R-1-6500 (Single Family) District, has come before this Commission, and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has held a public hearing on this application and has examined pertinent maps, drawings and documents. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton approves UP-74-16, subject to the following conditions: 1. That no more than two breeding does and one breeding buck, plus their offspring to an age of no more than six weeks, or 23 rabbits, whichever is the lesser, be kept on the site at any one time. Non- breeding pet adult rabbits may be included in the 23 noted above. 2. That all rabbit hutches be cleaned on a daily basis; that rabbit excrement be disposed of on a daily basis by wrapping in paper or plastic bags and deposit in waste receptacles having tight fitting covers or by disking into the soil. 3. That ail rabbit feed be kept in rodent-proof containers. 4. That this conditional use permit be subject to immediate suspension or revocation if the keeping of rabbits on the subject property creates nuisances to surrounding property owners or residents due to odors or insects or the creation of other environmental or social problems. 5. That all rabbit hutches be kept on the eastern side of the subject property and that all rabbits be kept in these hutches at all times except when under human supervision. 6. That the permit be administratively reviewed annually with appropriate notices sent to neighbors prior to such review. 7. That the rabbits be raised only by the Lasater family who are active members in good standing in the 4-H or FFA.
