PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1315 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton approving UP=74-16. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lasater for a <br />conditional use permit to allow the keeping of rabbits <br />on a residential lot located at 6538 Mason Court; <br />zoning for the property being R-1-6500 (Single Family) <br />District, has come before this Commission, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has <br />held a public hearing on this application and has <br />examined pertinent maps, drawings and documents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton approves UP-74-16, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That no more than two breeding does and one <br />breeding buck, plus their offspring to an age of no <br />more than six weeks, or 23 rabbits, whichever is the <br />lesser, be kept on the site at any one time. Non- <br />breeding pet adult rabbits may be included in the <br />23 noted above. <br />2. That all rabbit hutches be cleaned on a daily <br />basis; that rabbit excrement be disposed of on a daily <br />basis by wrapping in paper or plastic bags and deposit <br />in waste receptacles having tight fitting covers or by <br />disking into the soil. <br />3. That ail rabbit feed be kept in rodent-proof <br />containers. <br />4. That this conditional use permit be subject to <br />immediate suspension or revocation if the keeping of <br />rabbits on the subject property creates nuisances to <br />surrounding property owners or residents due to odors <br />or insects or the creation of other environmental <br />or social problems. <br />5. That all rabbit hutches be kept on the eastern <br />side of the subject property and that all rabbits be <br />kept in these hutches at all times except when under <br />human supervision. <br />6. That the permit be administratively reviewed <br />annually with appropriate notices sent to neighbors <br />prior to such review. <br />7. That the rabbits be raised only by the Lasater <br />family who are active members in good standing in the <br />4-H or FFA. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton on <br />the 11th day of September, 1974, by the following vote: <br />
