PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION NO._1321 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council the <br />adoption of GPA-74-10. <br />yp~~AS, the application of Morrison Homes for an amendment <br />to the General Plan from Schools to Medium Density <br />Residential for that approximately 10-acre parcel of <br />land located on the northwest side of Wood thrush <br />Road, 120 feet southwest of Sanderling Way, has <br />come before this Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, the time period provided by Sec. 11525.2 of the <br />Business and Professions Code for acquisition of the <br />above-mentioned 10-acre parcel by the Pleasanton Elem- <br />entary School District has lapsed, leaving no legal <br />vehicle by which this property can be reserved for <br />"school site," and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has held a public hearing on this application and <br />has examined pertinent maps, drawings and documents, <br />and has made the following findings: <br />a. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan. <br />b. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare. <br />c. That the proposed amendment creates a more <br />equitable condition for the community than now <br />prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council <br />the adoption of GPA-74-10, as petitioned. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton on <br />the 13th day of November, 1974, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Butler, Doherty, <br />McLain and Chairman Wood <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Commissioner Carrigan <br />Abs to in: <br />Attest: Secretary Harris <br />Date: November 13, 1974 <br />Attest: - i~ ~~~~ <br />i 1 111 <br />Robert J.~ Secretary Walt Wood, Chairman <br />
