PLANNING COMMISSION City of Pleasanton RESOLUTION N0. 1329 A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council the modification of GP-74-11. WHEREAS, the application of Pleasanton Garbage Service for an amendment of the Pleasanton General Plan from Low Density Residential and Medium Density Residential to Agriculture and Grazing, for that approximately 60 acres of land located on the south side of Vineyard Avenue, approximately 2,100 feet east of the eastern City Limit line, has come before this Commission, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanto has held public hearings on this application and has examined pertinent maps, drawings and docu- ments, and has made the following findings: 1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary to the spirit and intent of the General Plan. 2. That the proposed amendment is in the public interest and general welfare. 3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equitable condition for the community than now prevails. NOW, TH61glE-RE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton recommends to the City Council the adoption of GP-74-11, with the following modi- fication: 1. That only the 22.68 acre parcel owned by Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc. be amended on the 1968 General Plan and the General Plan revision from low and medium density residential to agricultural and grazing; that the lands of Ralph L. and Wilma F. Martin be retained under their existing General Plan designation of low- density residential.
