PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1329 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton recommending to the City <br />Council the modification of GP-74-11. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Pleasanton Garbage Service <br />for an amendment of the Pleasanton General Plan <br />from Low Density Residential and Medium Density <br />Residential to Agriculture and Grazing, for <br />that approximately 60 acres of land located on <br />the south side of Vineyard Avenue, approximately <br />2,100 feet east of the eastern City Limit line, <br />has come before this Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanto <br />has held public hearings on this application and <br />has examined pertinent maps, drawings and docu- <br />ments, and has made the following findings: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the General <br />Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more <br />equitable condition for the community than <br />now prevails. <br />NOW, TH61glE-RE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton recommends to the City Council the <br />adoption of GP-74-11, with the following modi- <br />fication: <br />1. That only the 22.68 acre parcel owned by <br />Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc. be amended on <br />the 1968 General Plan and the General Plan <br />revision from low and medium density residential <br />to agricultural and grazing; that the lands of <br />Ralph L. and Wilma F. Martin be retained under <br />their existing General Plan designation of low- <br />density residential. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton, on <br />the 11th day of December, 1974, by the following <br />vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Butler, Dohe <br /> Carrigan and Chairman Wood <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Commissioner McLain <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Harris <br />Date: December 11, 1974 <br />r <br />Attest: <br />Robert J.
