PLANNING COMMISSION City of Pleasanton RESOLUTION N0. 1332 A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton denying Tentative Tract Map No. 3256. WHEREAS, the application of Howard Long for approval of Tentative Tract Map No. 3256 has come before this Commission, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has held a hearing on this ap- plication and has examined pertinent maps, documents and testimony and the following has been established: 1. That the Director of Housing and Com- munity Development did, on February 2, 1975, make the finding that an environmental impact report is required on the project. 2. That according to Section 11552 of the Business and Professions Code, once a tenta- tive map has been submitted, a city has a maximum period of 50 days to act upon it; and 3. That in processing the environmental impact requirements, the 50-day period would be insufficient time within which the City is required to process said tentative map. 4. That a request for waiver of time was submitted to Dr. Long on January 30, 1975, and said request was denied by Dr. Long. 5. That the City, pursuant to Section 11552 of the Business and Professions Code submitted said tentative map to the Planning Commission without an accompanying EIR. 6. That staff advised the Planning Com- mission that the design and improvement of the development was not in conformance with the City's subdivision ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton, does deny Tentative Tract Map No. 3256 as submitted for the following reasons: 1. The design of the subdivision or the proposed improvements are likely to cause substantial environmental damage since the development will occur in a hillside area.
