PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1343 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton approving UP-75-11. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Lynnewood United Methodist <br />Church for a conditional use permit to con- <br />tinue to operate a 72-student nursery school <br />on the church property at 4444 Black Avenue; <br />zoning for the property being P (Public and <br />Institutional) District, has come before this <br />Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public <br />hearing on this application and has examined <br />pertinent maps, drawings and documents and <br />has made the following findings: <br />a. That the proposed location of the con- <br />ditional use is in accord with the objectives <br />of this chapter and the purposes of the dis- <br />trict in which the site is located. <br />b. That the proposed location of the con- <br />ditional use and the conditions under which <br />it would be operated or maintained will not <br />be detrimental to the public health, safety, <br />or welfare, or materially injurious to the <br />properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />c. That the proposed conditional use will <br />comply with each of the applicable provisions <br />of this chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission <br />approves UP-75-11, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That the nursery school shall accommodate <br />a maximum of 72 children and that school <br />activities be carried out in the existing <br />fenced play yard area and the sanctuary <br />building. If, as the church develops, in- <br />creased area is desired for the school, that <br />a new conditional use permit must be requested. <br />2. That the church complete a landscape <br />rehabilitation program incorporating land- <br />scaping in accordance with the landscaped <br />plan, Exhibit A, approved by the Design Review <br />Board, as part of case Z-72-62, and that said <br />program be completed by September 15, 1975. <br />3. That the new operator of the nursery <br />school secure all state and county licenses <br />and certificates required for the operation <br />of a nursery school. <br />
