PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1371 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton recommending to the <br />City Council the adoption of GP-75-4. <br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission <br />for a general plan amendment to change the <br />general plan designation of 5.2 acres of <br />land located near the northeast corner of <br />Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue from High <br />Density Residential to Retail Business and <br />Offices, Professional and Administrative <br />Offices, Medium Density Residential, Public <br />or Institutions, has come before this Com- <br />mission, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public <br />hearing on this application and has reviewed <br />pertinent maps, drawings and documents and <br />has made the following findings: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not <br />be contrary to the spirit and intent of the <br />General Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the <br />public interest and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a <br />more equitable condition for the community <br />than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission <br />does hereby recommend to the City Council <br />the adoption of GP-75-4, as follows: <br />That the General Plan as it pertains <br />to the eastern approximately one-third <br />of the property be amended from High <br />Density Residential to Public and <br />that the remainder be amended to <br />Retail Business and Offices. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 8th day of October, 1975, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: <br />Commissioners Butler, Doherty, <br />Carrigan, Shepherd and Chairman <br />Wood <br />None <br />None <br />None <br />Secretary Harris <br />Date: October 8, 1975 <br />Attest: <br />Robert J. arras, Secretary Wah Chairman <br />
