PLANNING COMMISSION City of Pleasanton RESOLUTION N0. 1371 A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council the adoption of GP-75-4. WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission for a general plan amendment to change the general plan designation of 5.2 acres of land located near the northeast corner of Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue from High Density Residential to Retail Business and Offices, Professional and Administrative Offices, Medium Density Residential, Public or Institutions, has come before this Com- mission, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on this application and has reviewed pertinent maps, drawings and documents and has made the following findings: 1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary to the spirit and intent of the General Plan. 2. That the proposed amendment is in the public interest and general welfare. 3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equitable condition for the community than now prevails. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission does hereby recommend to the City Council the adoption of GP-75-4, as follows: That the General Plan as it pertains to the eastern approximately one-third of the property be amended from High Density Residential to Public and that the remainder be amended to Retail Business and Offices.
