PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 1372 <br /> A resolution of the Planning Commission of <br /> the City of Pleasanton recommending to the <br /> City Council the denial of RZ-75-12. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Douglas Safreno to rezone <br /> two parcels of land containing a total of <br /> approximately 11,300 square feet located south <br /> and southeast of the existing Shell service <br /> station on First Street and Vineyard Avenue <br /> (4232 First Street and an unnumbered parcel <br /> with no street frontage),. from RM (Multiple <br /> Residential) District to C-F (Commercial <br /> Freeway) District, has come before this <br /> Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasan <br /> has held a public hearing on this application <br /> and has examined pertinent maps, drawings and <br /> documents and finds that one or more of the <br /> following conditions do exist: <br /> 1. That the proposed amendment will be <br /> contrary to the spirit and intent of the <br /> General Plan. <br /> 2. That the proposed amendment is not in the <br /> public interest and general welfare. <br /> 3. That the proposed amendment creates a <br /> less equitable condition for the community <br /> than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission <br /> of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br /> recommend to the City Council the denial of <br /> RZ-75-12, as petitioned. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on the 8th day of October, 1975, <br /> by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Butler, Doher <br />Carrigan and Chairman Wood <br />Noes: Commissioner Shepherd <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Attest: Secretary Harris <br />Date:October 8, 1975 <br />Attest• ~ <br />Robert is, Secretary <br />f ~ I ''~~~ <br />Walt Wood, Chairman <br />
