WHEREAS, in order to obtain additional public impact regarding the EIR, the Planning Commission opened the meeting to the public and allowed any and all interested persons to speak. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASAIITON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1. Certifies that the draft environmental impact report and the accompanying volume (comprised of additions to and comments upon the draft EIR and replies to the comments received as well as other material) comprises the final environmental impact report re- lating to Tentative Tract 3606, also known as the Woodthrush Development, and that said final EIR has been completed in com- pliance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and the State Environ- mental Guidelines promulgated by the Secretary for Resources of the State of California. 2. Certifies that it has reviewed and con- sidered the information contained in the final EIR, especially the effects of the project and mitigation measures designed to minimize said effects as more particularly set forth on pages E-1 through E-4, said effects being incremental air quality degradation and the overtaxing of the antiquated Sunol Sewage Treatment Plant, 3. Certifies that the boundaries of the area which may be significantly affected by the proposed action are those boundaries more particularly set forth on page 21 of Volume II of the EIR. 4. The Secretary of the Planning Commission or other appropriate City official is directed to file a tdotice of Determination with the Clerk of Alameda County. 5. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
