PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton, California RESOLUTION No. 1375 A RESOLUTION DENYING TENTATIVE TRACT MAP 3606, 4JOODTHRUSH WIIEREAS, Morrison Homes, Inc., submitted Tentative Tract Map No. 3606 on February 14, 1975, to the City of Pleasanton for approval; and WHEREAS, Morrison Homes, Inc., agreed to waive the time limit on hearing tentative map appli- cations so an environmental impact report could be prepared; and WHEREAS, a Final EIR has been prepared and certified by this Planning Commission to be in compli- ance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and the State Environmental Guidelines promulgated by the Secretary for Resources of the State of California; and WHEREAS, this Planning Commission has reviewed and considered the information in the EIR, and WHEREAS, the EIR and this Planning Commission have found that there are significant environ- mental impacts associated with this project, said effects being incremental effects upon air quality degradation and the overtaxing of the antiquated Sunol Sewage Treatment Plant; and WHEREAS, there currently exists a cease and desist order applicable to the Sunol Treatment Plant which prohibits new sewer connections; and WHEREAS, Section 66474.6 of the Government Code states that a tentative map may be disapproved if the discharge of waste from the proposed subdivision would result in violation of existing requirements of the Regional Water Quality Control Board. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1. Determines, pursuant to Section 66474.6 of the Government Code, that the discharge of waste from this proposed subdivision would result in a violation of Cease and Desist Order No. 75-14 of the Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Francisco Bay Region, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit B, incorporated by reference. 2.
