CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-03 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR BIKE LANES ON JOHNSON DRIVE FROM <br /> STONERIDGE DRIVE TO MORSE DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 16, 1986, staff prepared a bicycle project <br /> to present before the Metropolitan Transportation <br /> Commission for consideration to obtain TDA, Article 3 <br /> Bicycle Funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, MTC can appropriate a maximum of $75,000 per year toward <br /> the funding of a qualifying project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, MTC, TDA Article 3 funding requires approval from the <br /> governing agency to establish full eligibility; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes and approves the preparation of plans and <br /> specifications for approximately 19,200 feet of bike <br /> lanes and related facilities on Johnson Drive from <br /> Stoneridge Drive to Morse Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the acceptance of MTC, TDA Article 3 moneys <br /> to fund Phase I of the project. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 6, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br /> ET~O~R <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> KE <br /> <br /> ames R.
