PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1396 <br />A RESOLUTION MAKING NO RECOMMENDATION ON THE <br />APPLICATION RZ-76-2, BY STONESON DEVELOPMENT <br />CORPORATION, TO REZONE 22.7 ACRES OF LAND <br />LOCATED SOUTH OF STONERIDGE DRIVE AND BOUNDED <br />BY STONEDALE DRIVE, GOLD CREEK AND I-680 <br />FROM PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT <br />TO R-1-6500 DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the applicant, Stoneson Development Corporation, <br />has requested the rezoning of 22.7 acres of land from PUD to <br />R-1-6500; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing on said request was <br />given pursuant to Government Code Section 65854 for the Planning <br />Commission meeting of February 11, 1976; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant requested at the Commission meeting <br />of February 11, that the matter be continued for one month so <br />that the applicant and the homeowners association could continue <br />to meet to discuss effects of rezoning on the portion of PUD <br />,already completed and occupied; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission opened the public hearing and <br />(continued it to the Planning Commission meeting of March 10, <br />11976, at 8:00 p.m., 30 West Angela Street; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 10, 1976, at <br />which time the Planning Commission heard from the applicant <br />and his representatives, residents of townhouses, and residents <br />of single family homes in the area; and <br />WHEREAS, only four of the Planning Commissioners were in <br />attendance; and <br />WHEREAS, it was moved and seconded to adopt a resolution <br />recommending to the City Council the adoption of the proposed <br />rezoning; and <br />
