Recommended allowable bearing pressures and <br /> anticipated settlements; <br /> <br /> 9. Recommendations for concrete floor slabs and base; <br /> <br /> 10. Recommended lateral earth pressures for basement and <br /> retaining walls; <br /> <br /> 11. Recommendations for site preparation and earthwork <br /> including foundation and trench backfill; <br /> <br /> 12. Suitability of native soil for structural fill; <br /> <br /> 13. Import fill specifications; <br /> <br /> 14. Recommendation for construction observations and <br /> testing; and <br /> <br /> 15. Recommendations for thickness of asphaltic concrete <br /> pavement. <br /> <br />Geologic and Seismic Study (Optional) <br /> <br />A detailed geologic and seismic hazards study, if required, would <br />be performed by a certified engineering geologist, assisted by a <br />staff geologist, based on a site reconnaissance and evaluation of <br />the available seismicity and geology data concerning the site and <br />surrounding areas.
