PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1108 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton denying V-71-12. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has considered V-71-12 filed by <br />Morrison Homes to allow a reduction in the <br />required parking space width for covered <br />spaces in the R-1 (Single-family) District <br />for approximately 94 lots of Tract 3254; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public <br />hearing on this application and has examined <br />pertinent maps, drawings and documents and <br />finds that one or more of the following <br />conditions do exist: <br />1. That there are no exceptional or unusual <br />circumstances or conditions which apply to <br />the subject property for the intended use <br />that do not apply generally to other develop- <br />ments or classes of use in the same vicinity <br />or zoned district. <br />2. That the granting of this variance is <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of Zoning <br />Ordinance #520. <br />3. That according to the moratorium as <br />described in Ordinance #520, a reasonable and <br />equitable time period was defined to allow <br />developers to make the necessary transition <br />into various standards as it may apply to their <br />individual projects. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton hereby denies said <br />variance petition. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton on the 10th day of August, 1971, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: <br />Commissioners Pons; Wood <br />and Chairman Garriaan. <br />Commissioner Pereira <br />Commissioner Hirst <br />Secretary Castro <br />Date: August 10, 1971 <br />Howard T.
