PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1113 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton approving RZ-71-7. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Ted C. Fairfield on behalf <br />of Mackay Homes to rezone from the A (Agricultural) <br />District to the following district: <br />1. 187.4 ± acres R-1-6500 (Single-family). <br />2. 5.9 ± acres RM-1500 acres (Multiple). <br />3. 30.4 ± acres P (Public and Institutional). <br />4. 14.9 ± acres A (Agricultural-Parks). <br />Said property to be the balance of Tract 3165 or <br />more commonly known as the south westerly corner <br />of the Pleasanton Canal and Hopyard Road, containin <br />a total of 238.6 acres more or less, Pleasanton, an <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing <br />on this proposed ordinance and has examined pertine <br />documents and testimony and finds that one or more <br />of the following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the General <br />Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more <br />equitable condition for the community than now <br />prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton hereby approves RZ-71-7 <br />subject-to the following conditions: <br />1. That the zoning as requested and noted under <br />Exhibit A is hereby approved, said zoning consistin <br />of 187.4 ± acres of R-1-6500, 5.9 ± acres RM-1500 <br />acres of multiple, 30.4 ± acres of Public and <br />Institutional, and 14.9 ± acres of public parks. <br />2. That in addition to granting of final zoning, <br />final map approval sYiall be authorized by the City <br />for units #13, #14 and #19 to be approved no later <br />than prior to November of this year. Further, that <br />the developer and the City shall begin negotiations <br />on a program that would phase out the balance of <br />said development. <br />SED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 24th day of August, 1971 by the <br />following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, Pons, <br />Wood and Chairman Carrigan. <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />ate: August 24, 1971 <br />ttest- <br />0 <br />ica o J.
