PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1123 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton denying <br />RZ-71-6. <br />WHEREAS, the application of H. C. Elliott, Inc., <br />to rezone from the C-C (Community <br />Commercial) District to RM-1500 (Multi- <br />Family) and C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) <br />District; that property described as <br />Parcel 1, Block 2551 of Book 946 of the <br />Alameda County Assessor's office. Property <br />generally located on the east side of <br />Pico Avenue bounded by Tawny Drive on <br />the north and Palomino Drive on the south, <br />containing 14.03 acres, more or less, <br />has come before this Commission, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has held a public hearing <br />on this petition and has examined the <br />pertinent maps, drawings and documents <br />and finds that one or more of the following <br />conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the <br />General Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is not in <br />the public interest and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed amendment is hereby <br />denied based on the policy adopted by the <br />City Council at their regular meeting <br />of October 11, 1971. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of <br />City of Pleasanton hereby denies said <br />proposal as petitioned. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 12th day of October, <br />1971, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, <br />Pons, Wood and Chairman Garrigan <br />NOES: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: Secretary Castro <br />Date: October ~2 1971 <br />I <br />.~ ~. <br /> <br />cardo J.~stro, Secretary Howard T.
