PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 11 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton approving <br />RZ-72-2. <br />HEREAS, the application of Lynnewood United <br />Methodist Church to rezone from the <br />A (Agriculture) District to the P (Public <br />and Institutional) District that property <br />located west of the Pacific Telephone <br />property with frontage on Black Avenue, <br />containing 2.64 acres, more or less, <br />Pleasanton, has come before this Commission., <br />and, <br />EREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public <br />hearing on this petition and has examined <br />the pertinent maps, drawings and documents <br />and finds that one or more of the following <br />conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not <br />be contrary to the spirit and intent of the <br />General Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the <br />public interest and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates <br />a more equitable condition for the community <br />than now prevails. <br />4. That the proposed plan is in keeping with <br />the policies of the Planning Commission and <br />City Council. <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission hereby <br />approves RZ-72-2 as petitioned. <br />'ASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 25th day of April by the <br />following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, <br />Pons, Wood and Chairman Garrigan <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />te: April 25, 1972 <br />ttest: <br />astro, Secretary <br />Ho and T.
