PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1178 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton reco®aending to the City Council <br />the retention of Area D in the Study District. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a Public Hearing <br />on this matter and reviewed pertinent testimony, <br />reports, maps and documents, and finds the follow- <br />ing to be evident: <br />1. That the existing multiple lots presently <br />undeveloped and fronting on Sonoma Drive, be <br />studied by staff with the directive that if <br />feasible and desirable from a Land use point of <br />view, the number of units per parcel be reduced. <br />2. That the I-P District presently zoned for those <br />properties on the north and south sides of Sonoma <br />Drive just easterly of Sunol Boulevard be restudied <br />with the directive of substituting, if feasible, <br />either a Light Industrial or Commercial Service <br />District in lieu of its present zoning designation. <br />3. That the area more commonly known as The Hill <br />be reviewed by the staff for a single family resi- <br />dential development; that in considering what <br />single family densities are to be applied to the <br />parcel in question, that the various single family <br />lot sizes be explored; that a recommendation by <br />staff be forwarded to the Commission addressing <br />itself as to whether future developments on this <br />property should be under the conventional review <br />process or a P.U.D. development. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission, because of <br />the factors noted above, hereby recommends to <br />City Council that Study Area D be continued with <br />the Study District designation, and that this area <br />be referred back to City staff for further study. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 9th day of May, 1972, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Pereira, Wood and <br />Vice Chairman Pons <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Chairman Garrigan <br />Abstain: Commissioner Hirst <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />Date: May 9, 2 ~ ~ <br />i <br />~k' <br />L-~ __ <br />' and J.
