CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-311 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF SLURRY SEALING ON VARIOUS CITY STREETS, <br /> PROJECT NO. 87-07A, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS <br /> PAYMENT TO CALIFORNIA PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by California Pavement Maintenance Company on the <br /> slurry sealing on various City streets, Project No. <br /> 87-07A, has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the slurry sealing of various city <br />streets is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $34,646.81 in favor of <br /> California Pavement Maintenance Company in satisfaction <br /> of the final progress payment for the above-accepted <br /> work on Project No. 87-07A. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $3,849.65 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the A].ameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 21, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler ~ <br />ABSTAIN: None ~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> K MERCER, MAYOR <br />James R."Walker, ~ity Clerk' /~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
