PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1225 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton recommending <br />to the City Council the rejection of <br />RZ-72-11 in its entirety. <br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission <br />to rezone from the R-1-6500 (Single Family) <br />District and the A (Agricultural) District, <br />those properties known as Tract #3311, #3312 <br />and Parcel 941-1302-2-19 to C-S (Commercial <br />Service), P (Public and Institutional), I-P <br />(Industrial Park), or such other district <br />deemed acceptable, has come before this Com- <br />mission, and, <br />WHEREAS, in conformance with the intent expressed by <br />City Council, the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton has held a public hearing <br />on this application and has examined perti- <br />nent maps, drawings and documents, and finds <br />the following to be evident: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will be con- <br />trary to the spirit and intent of the <br />General Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is not in <br />the public interest and general welfare. <br />That the proposed amendment creates a <br />less equitable condition for the community <br />than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton does hereby recommend <br />to the City Council the rejection of RZ-72-11 <br />in its entirety. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 13th day of Febraury, 1973, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: <br />Date <br />Attest: <br />February 13, 1973 <br />Commissioners Carrigan, McLain, <br />Wood and Acting Chairman Pereira. <br />Chairman Pons <br />Secretary Castro <br />~, <br />L.
