PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1231 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission recommending <br />to the City Council the approval of the General <br />Plan Amendments to the Youth Sports Park. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did review the amendments <br />as presented by the Parks and Landscape Design <br />Section, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was in general agreement <br />with the changes as proposed. <br />NOW, THEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission does <br />hereby endorse the proposed amendments, subject <br />to the following: <br />1. That the night-lighted softball fields be <br />relocated away from the existing single-family dwell- <br />ings backing to the south side of the park and <br />some other non-Lighted use be put in their place. <br />2. That the Park and Landscape Section, prior to <br />the time this amendment is reviewed by City Council, <br />notify the homeowners residing immediately to the <br />south of the park of the proposed night-lighted <br />fields in order that they may be present to review <br />the master park plan and voice any opinions they <br />may have at the City Council meeting. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 13th day of March, 1973, by the following <br />vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners McLain, Pereira <br />and Chairman Pons <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Covttsissioners Carrigan and Wood <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />Date: Mare~13, <br />% , <br />fix: .f~_~.~ ~ 6,..~t .- <br />~~~ , <br />o J.
