PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1250 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission <br />recommending to the City Council an amend- <br />ment to the Ordinance Code pertaining to <br />front yard setbacks for single family and <br />multiple family residences. <br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission <br />for an amendment of Section 2-5.35 and <br />Section 2-5.37, Article 3, Chapter 2, <br />Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City <br />of Pleasanton, has come before this <br />Commission, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has held a public hearing on this <br />matter and has examined pertinent maps, <br />drawings and documents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />recommend to the City Council the approval <br />of said ordinance amendment to read as <br />follows: <br />§2-5.35 (Basic Requirements for All Districts) <br />Article 3, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordi- <br />nance Code of the City of Pleasanton is <br />hereby amended to require a uniform minimum <br />front yard setback of twenty-three (23) <br />feet for all residential zones designated <br />R-1-6500, R-1-7500, R-1-8500 and R-1-10,000. <br />§2-5.37, and subsection (a) and (d) thereof <br />(Front yards: Requirements and Exceptions), <br />Article 3, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordi- <br />nance Code of the City of Pleasanton are <br />hereby amended as follows: <br />§2-5.37 Front Yards: Requirements <br />and Exceptions. In addition to the <br />regulations precribed in the Zoning <br />Schedule of §205.35, the following <br />regulations shall apply: <br />a. The minimum front yard for a garage, <br />carport, or off-street parking space <br />required to serve a dwelling in the <br />R-1-6500, R-1-7500, R-1-8000, <br />R-1-10,000 and RM districts shall <br />be 23 feet, in order to accommodate <br />a car outside the garage, carport <br />
