PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1254 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton recommending <br />to the City Council the adoption of an <br />Ordinance Amendment to Section 2-5.41, <br />Article 3, Chapter 2, Title II of the <br />Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton. <br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission <br />for an amendment to the Ordinance Code <br />relating to projections into yards has <br />come before this Commission, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has held a public hearing on <br />this matter and has examined pertinent <br />maps, drawings and documents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following Ordinance <br />Amendment be recommended for adoption to <br />read as follows: <br />§2-5.41.6 Covered Patios. Covered patios <br />attached to a main structure and enclosed <br />on more than one side may project not more <br />than eight (8) feet into a required rear <br />yard and five (5) feet into a required side <br />yard within thirty-five (35) feet of the <br />rear lot line, provided that the required <br />side yard shall not be reduced to less <br />than five (5) feet. Covered patios attached <br />to a main structure and opened on three <br />sides may come to within five (5) feet of <br />the rear and side property lines of pro- <br />perty within any residential zone. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 8th day of August, 1973 <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Carrigan, <br />McLain, Pereira, Wood a <br />Chairman Pons <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />DATE: August 8, 1973 <br />hl1L~J1 <br />Ri rdo J.
