PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1281 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission <br />recommending to the City Council the selection <br />of the final route for the Livermore-Pleasanton <br />BART Extension. <br />WHEREAS, the review of the final alternative route <br />to serve the citizens of Pleasanton has come <br />before this Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has held a special meeting on <br />this matter and has reviewed testimony, maps, <br />drawings and documents presented by the <br />consultants for the rapid transit district, <br />and has heard testimony from interested <br />citizens. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton hereby recommends to <br />the City Council the adoption of the "Southern <br />Route" as the final Livermore-Pleasanton BART <br />Extension route, with the stipulation that <br />that portion of the route through Downtown <br />Pleasanton be undergrounded. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 20th day of February, 1974, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Carrigan, Wood <br />and Chairman Pereira <br />Noes: Commissioner McLain <br />Absent: Commissioner Pons <br />Attest: Secretary Harris <br />DATE: February 20, 1974 <br />ATTEST: <br />Robert J. ris, Secretary L.
