PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1292 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton recommending to <br />the City Council the adoption of GP-74-4 <br />filed by Graham-Hitch Mortuary. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Graham-Hitch Mortuary for <br />an amendment to the General Plan of the City <br />of Pleasanton for that 3.1 acre parcel of land <br />lying immediately north west of the intersection <br />of Valley Trails Drive South has come before <br />this Commission, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has held a public hearing on this <br />application and has examined pertinent maps, <br />drawings and documents and has made the follow- <br />ing findings: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the <br />General Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the <br />public interest and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a <br />more equitable condition for the community <br />than now prevails. <br />NOP7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the <br />City Council the adoption of GP-74-4 as <br />follows: <br />That the 1968 General Plan and the General <br />Plan Revision both be amended to show the <br />approximately 1 acre southeastern portion of <br />the 3.1 acre site located at the north west <br />corner of Hopyard Road and Valley Trails Drive <br />South as retail business and office, with <br />the balance to remain in the high density <br />residential land use classification; further <br />that the high density acreage be considered by <br />the Council at a density of one dwelling unit/ <br />4000 sq. ft. of lot area. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 8th day of May, 1974 by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: <br />DATE: May 8, 1974 <br />ATTEST: it <br />f~ L <br />is <br />~ ~, ~ l(N~n tip, <br />Robes ,~rH~#~ris , Secretary <br />Commissioners Carrigan, <br />McLain, Pons and <br />Chairman Pereira <br />Commissioner Wood <br />Secretary Harris <br />L.
