PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1293 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission <br />denying UP-74-8. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Mrs. Joanne Foss for a <br />conditional use permit to allow the keeping <br />of two chickens on property located at 446 <br />Arlington Court; zoning for the property <br />being R-1-6500 (Single Family) District, <br />has come before this Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has held a public hearing on this <br />application and has examined pertinent maps, <br />drawings and documents and has made the <br />following findings: <br />1. That the proposed use is not in accord <br />with the objectives of this ordinance and <br />the purposes of the district in which <br />the site is located. <br />2. That the proposed use will be detrimen- <br />tal to the public health, safety or welfare, <br />or materially injurious to properties or <br />improvements in the vicinity. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton, pursuant to the findings <br />noted above, hereby denies said request as <br />petitioned. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning .Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 8th day of May, 1974, by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Carrigan, <br />Pons, and Chairman Pereira <br />Noes: Commissioners McLain <br />and Wood <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Harris <br />May 8, 1974 <br />ATTEST: <br />L.
