Appendix B. Field Service Trainee Conversion Process <br /> <br /> (1) Time In Class: The time spent by employees in the <br /> classifications of Sanitary System Operator I, Water <br /> System Operator I, Street Maintenance Worker I, and Park <br /> Maintenance Worker I shall be reduced from three (3) years <br /> to two (2) years. <br /> <br /> (2) Salary Ranqe: The present salary range of those <br /> classifications listed in B-1 above shall be reduced from <br /> three (3) steps to two (2) steps - C step and D step. <br /> <br /> (3) Advancement: Upon completion of two (2) years <br /> satisfactory service as judged by their supervisors, <br /> employees in the classifications listed in B-1 above shall <br /> be reclassified to their respective journey level <br /> classification. If the employee's performance is not <br /> satisfactory, the employee shall be placed on six (6) <br /> months probation.
