CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-299 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON <br /> CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION AND FIXING SALARIES AND <br /> CONDITION8 OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF <br /> EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 1987-88 BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager <br /> as employer representative of the City Council, and <br /> representatives of the Pleasanton City Employees <br /> Association have met and conferred pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government <br /> Code in regard to wages, hours and other terms and <br /> conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton <br /> City Employees Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process <br /> a Memorandum of Understanding dated July 7, 1987 was <br /> entered into between the City Manager and <br /> representatives of the Pleasanton City Employees <br /> Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the <br /> City Council at the regular meeting of July 7, 1987; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between <br /> the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton <br /> City Employees Association for a term commencing <br /> March 1, 1987 through February 28, 1988, attached hereto <br /> as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference, is <br /> hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton subject to the terms and conditions contained <br /> in the Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> <br />Section 2: The employees' class titles and salary ranges to be <br /> paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the <br /> Pleasanton City Employees Association during the period <br /> March 1, 1987 through February 28, 1988, shall be set <br /> forth in Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: The budget for fiscal year 1987-88 is hereby amended <br /> to reflect those changes enumerated in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
