ATTACHMENT 1 FIFTH AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES This Fifth Amendment to Contract for Consultant Services is entered into December 4, 2007, between the City of Pleasanton (City) and EIP Associates, a division of PBS&J (Consultant). Recitals Whereas, on April 18, 2006 City and Consultant entered into a Contract for Consultant Services concerning the Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan and Staples Ranch Environmental Impact Report (Contract); Whereas, on February 28, 2007 the City and Consultant amended the scope of the services under the Contract to include a Water Supply Assessment; Whereas, on September 14, 2007 the City and Consultant amended the scope of the services under the Contract to include a review and summary of the Staples Ranch traffic analysis by Dowling and Associates; Whereas, on October 2, 2007 the City and Consultant amended the scope of services under the Contract to include an analysis of the Logitech Ice rink alternative for the Environmental Impact Report; Whereas, on November 1, 2007 the City and Consultant amended the scope of services under the Contract to include EIP Associates' attendance at one additional public meeting; Whereas, the parties now wish to expand the scope of the services under the Contract to include revisions to the visual analysis beyond the original scope of work as more fully described in the attached Exhibit A. Now, therefore, the parties agree as follows: 1. Consultant shall perform all the work identified in Exhibit A. The project manager of the work in Exhibit A shall be Rod Jeung. Under this amendment, the City shall pay EIP Associates on a time and materials basis not to exceed $6,280 for the revisions to the visual simulations. 2. All other terms and conditions of the Contract shall remain in full force and effect. Staples Ranch EIR Contract Amendment
