CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-286 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE CLAIM OF WILLIAM J. STANSELL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 13, 1987, the City of Pleasanton received a claim <br /> filed by William J. Stansell for damages to his property <br /> when a storm drain was blocked causing flooding and mud <br /> damage to his house during a storm on February 13, 1987; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 7, 1987, the City Council reviewed the claim and <br /> determined that it should be denied; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The claim of William J. Stansell is hereby denied. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 7, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler ~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: ' <br /> KENNETH R.
