CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-280 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO CONSOLIDATED <br /> LANDSCAPE, INC. OF LIVERMORE FOR THE MUIRWOOD PARK <br /> IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT 84-29 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for the <br /> Muirwood Park Improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., the <br /> City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br /> regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on June 22, 1987; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Consolidated Landscape, Inc. of Livermore, in <br /> the amount of $172,000.00 was determined to be the <br /> lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of Consolidated Landscape, Inc. of <br /> Livermore be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Consolidated Landscape, Inc. of Livermore, <br /> in the amount of $172,000.00 for the Muirwood Park <br /> Improvements, Project 84-29, is hereby accepted by the <br /> City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with <br /> for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 7, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember - Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> <br />
