CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-256 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAN8 AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> PIMLICO SOUNDWALL AND AUTHORIZING CALLING FOR BIDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his <br /> report (SR 87:261), advised the City Council that plans <br /> and specifications had been completed for the Pimlico <br /> Soundwall and that said plans have been reviewed by <br /> staff; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 16, 1987, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities relating to the project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications for the <br /> construction of the Pimlico Soundwall. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Authorizes the calling of bids for the above project· <br /> <br /> Section 3: Authorizes an appropriation of $350,000 from NPID <br /> No. 1 for construction of the project, said funds to be <br /> replaced in NPID No. 1 upon sale of bonds for NPID <br /> No. 3. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 16, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> z ~ _.- ~ , _~,-~__-- <br />~ames R.
