CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-238 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF RESURFACING OF VARIOUS CITY STREETS, <br /> PROJECT NO. 86-27, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRE8S <br /> PAYMENT TO LES MCDONALD CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Les McDonald Construction Company on the <br /> resurfacing of various City streets, Project No. 86-27, <br /> has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS,it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the resurfacing of various City streets <br /> is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $4,179.24 in favor of Les <br /> McDonald Construction Company in satisfaction of the <br /> final progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br /> Project No. 87-27. Ten percent (10%) of the total <br /> contract or $20,231.53 will be retained until thirty <br /> (30) days after filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 2, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSTAIN: None /~Y~~].4/ <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Pe~f D.
