CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-235 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO MORI HATSUSHI <br /> AND ASSOCIATES, FOR HEATHERLARK PARK IMPROVEMENTS, <br /> PROJECT NO. 84-28 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> improvements to Heatherlark Park, Project No. 84-28; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., the <br /> City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br /> regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on June 2, 1987; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Mori Hatsushi and Associates, in the amount <br /> of $42,680.26 was determined to be the lowest <br /> responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of Mori Hatsushi and Associates be <br /> accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Mori Hatsushi and Associates, in the <br /> amount of $42,680.26, for Heatherlark Park improvements, <br /> Project No. 84-28, is hereby accepted by the City <br /> Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with <br /> Mori Hatsushi and Associates for the improvements <br /> specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
