CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-233 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE 4-H CLUB FOR <br /> A "FUN RUN" ON JUNE 27, 1987 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the University of California Cooperative Extension 4-H <br /> Club is requesting approval of a permit application to <br /> hold a "Fun Run" on Saturday, June 27, 1987; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this event is being held for the purpose of raising <br /> funds for local 4-H groups; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council received a report from the Assistant to <br /> the City Manager (SR 87:249) regarding the details of <br /> the proposed event and recommending approval by the City <br /> Council; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the application of the University of <br /> California Cooperative Extension 4-H Club for the "Fun <br /> Run" scheduled for June 27, 1987, subject to all <br /> conditions set forth in Staff Report 87:249. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The 1986-87 fiscal year budget is amended to include <br /> the staff overtime costs associated with the event. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 2, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> ABSTAIN: None ~/~ <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KENNETH R.
