CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-225 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LOU KITCHIN CONSULTANTS, INC. AND <br /> EDEN HOUSING, INC. TO PREPARE HODAG APPLICATION FOR THE <br /> SENIOR HOUSING PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in conjunction with the development of the Senior <br /> Housing Project, it is appropriate to prepare an <br /> application to received funds from the Housing <br /> Development Action Grant or HODAG; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, if the HODAG grant is awarded, rents in the Senior <br /> Housing Project could be lowered by $100 to $200 per <br /> month; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the firms of Lou Kitchin Consultants, Inc. and Eden <br /> Housing, Inc. are experienced and knowledgeable in <br /> preparation of grant applications; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council authorizes Lou Kitchin Consultants, <br /> Inc. and Eden Housing, Inc. to prepare the HODAG <br /> application. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 19, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None ~N~NE~TH/R' ~ <br /> ATTEST: <br /> K MERCER, MAYOR <br /> <br />~ames .
