CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-222 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br /> APPLICATION OF TRAMMELL CROW COMPANY AND CALLAHAN, <br /> SWEENEY AND O'BRIEN FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A <br /> 212 UNIT APARTMENT COMPLEX ON APPROXIMATELY 7.6 ACRES <br /> LOCATED IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY OWENS DRIVE, WEST LAB <br /> POSITAS BOULEVARD, THE ABANDONED SOUTHERN PACIFIC <br /> TRANSPORTATION COMPANY RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY AND <br /> TASSAJARA CREEK (PUD-87-3) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of MAY 19,1987, the City Council received <br /> a proposed negative declaration for the application of <br /> Trammell Crow Company and Callahan, Sweeney and O'Brien <br /> for development plan approval for a 212 unit apartment <br /> complex on approximately 7.6 acres located in the area <br /> bounded by Owens Drive, West Las Positas Boulevard, the <br /> abandoned Southern Pacific Transportation Company <br /> railroad right-of-way and Tassajara Creek (PUD-87-3); <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated February 12, 1987 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed development <br /> plan would not have any significant adverse effects on <br /> the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br /> of Trammell Crow Company and Callahan, Sweeney and <br /> O'Brien for development plan approval for a 212 unit <br /> apartment complex on approximately 7.6 acres located in <br /> the area ~bounded by Owens Drive, West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard, the abandoned Southern Pacific Transportation <br /> Company railroad right-of-way and Tassajara Creek <br /> (PUD-87-3). <br /> <br /> <br />
