CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-221 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br /> APPLICATION OF STONESON DEVELOPMENT TO REZONE <br /> APPROXIMATELY 13.5 ACRES FROM RM-2500 (MULTI-FAMILY <br /> RESIDENTIAL) TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) - <br /> HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT AND FOR DEVELOPMENT <br /> PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 104 UNIT TOWNHOUSE COMPLEX TO BE <br /> LOCATED IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY STONERIDGE DRIVE, <br /> SPRINGDALE AVENUE, GOLD CREEK AND PLEASANT HILL DRIVE <br /> (PUD-87-5) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 19, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for rezoning <br /> approximately 13.5 acres from AM-2500 (Multi-family <br /> Residential) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br /> High Density Residential District and for development <br /> plan approval for a 104 unit townhouse complex to be <br /> located in the area bounded by Stoneridge Drive, <br /> Springdale Avenue, Gold Creek and Pleasant Hill Drive; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated March 13, 1987 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan would not have any significant adverse <br /> effects on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for rezoning <br />approximately 13.5 acres from RM-2500 (Multi-family <br />Residential) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br /> High Density Residential District and for development <br /> plan approval for a 104 unit townhouse complex to be <br /> located in the area bounded by Stoneridge Drive, <br /> Springdale Avenue, Gold Creek and Pleasant Hill Drive. <br /> <br /> <br />
