CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 87-219 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT, ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND LEVYING ANNUAL ASSESSMENT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1984-1 (Pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972) WHEREAS, the City Council has taken a series of actions preliminary to ordering the improvement in Assessment District No. 1984-1, and now makes the following findings and orders: NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council adopted its Resolution Initiating Proceedings for the improvement described therein under the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, and directed the Engineer of Work for the assessment district, to prepare the report required by Section 22656, and following, of the Streets and Highways Code. The improvements are generally described on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference. Section 2: The Engineer of Work filed the report as directed, and the City Council adopted its Resolution of Intention calling a hearing on the report as required by Section 22587 of the Streets and Highways Code. Notice of the hearing was given by publication to affected property owners, all according to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. Affidavit of publication was filed with the City Clerk. Section 3: At the time and place for which notice was given, the City Council conducted a public hearing and gave every interested person an opportunity to object to the proposed improvement, the extend of the assessment district, or the proposed assessment. Section 4: The City Council finds that written protests against the proposed improvement have not been made by owners representing more than one-half of the area of the land to be assessed for the improvements. Section 5: The documents and events described in paragraphs 1 to 4, inclusive, are now on file with the City Clerk.
