CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-218 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING CHRISTINE STEINER, WILLIAM WRUCK <br /> AND VALERIE HURST AS MEMBERS OF THE HUMAN SERVICES <br /> COMMISSION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to the resignation of Reino Henderson and an already <br /> existing vacancy, two positions needed to be filled on <br /> the Human Services Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Christine Pearson Steiner has been serving in the <br /> position of Alternate Commissioner; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 19, 1987, the City Council <br /> considered the applications of and evaluated the <br /> qualifications of various individuals who are interested <br /> in serving on the Human Services Commission; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby appoints Christine Pearson <br /> Steiner and William A. Wruck as regular members of the <br /> Human Services Commission and Valerie M. Hurst is <br /> appointed to the position of Alternate member of the <br /> Human Services Commission, each for a four year term, <br /> said terms to expire on May 20, 1991, or until such time <br /> as they are replaced. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 19, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None NE/THR/.MERC~O <br />ATTEST: <br /> KE R <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> Petal D=.
