CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-215 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSMITTAL OF 83,105.76 TO STATE <br /> WATER RESOURCES CONTROL BOARD FOR UNDERGROUND TANK <br /> SURCHARGE FEES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 25287 of the State Underground Tank Law states <br /> that each local agency shall be paid a fee for each <br /> permit for an underground tank, which fee shall include <br /> a surcharge established by the State Legislature to <br /> allow the State Water Resources Control Board to recover <br /> its costs in carry out the tank law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 19, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Fire Chief (SR 87:231) which <br /> included an inventory of underground tanks and a <br /> computation of the amount due to the State Water <br /> Resources Control Board; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the remittance of $3,105.76 to the State <br /> Water Resources Control Board for underground tank <br /> surcharge fees. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 19, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> K~N~ETH R~.
