CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-207 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO CALIFORNIA <br /> PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE, INC., FOR SLURRY SEALING VARIOUS <br /> CITY STREETS, PROJECT NO. 87-07A <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for slurry <br /> sealing various City streets, Project No. 87-07A; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., the <br /> City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br /> regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on May 19, 1987; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of California Pavement Maintenance, Inc., in the <br /> amount of $38,892.00 was determined to be the lowest <br /> responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of California Pavement Maintenance, Inc. be <br /> accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of California Pavement Maintenance, Inc., in <br /> the amount of $38,892.00, for slurry sealing various <br /> City streets, Project No. 87-07A, is hereby accepted by <br /> the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with <br /> for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br /> <br />
