No. 4-1078-C <br /> Document No. ALA-1- <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, ENTERED INTO ON , is <br /> <br /> between the STATE OF CALIFORNIA, acting by and through its De- <br /> <br /> partment of Transportation, referred to herein as STATE, and <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> a body politic and a municipal <br /> corporation of the State of <br /> California, referred to herein <br /> as CITY. <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> (1) STATE and CITY, pursuant to Streets and Highways <br /> Code Section 114, are authorized to enter into a Cooperative <br /> Agreement for improvements to State highways within the CITY. <br /> (2) STATE is prepared to authorize CITY to provide <br /> traffic projection data, as specified by STATE, for alternative <br />· configurations for the 1-580/I-680 Interchange project, to be <br /> <br /> used for advance comparative studies. Said traffic projection <br /> <br /> data is referred to herein as "STUDY". <br /> <br /> (3) CITY is willing to provide STUDY in order to bring <br /> about the earliest possible construction of project. Con- <br /> struction of the interchange will benefit CITY by relieving in- <br /> creasing traffic congestion on CITY streets. <br /> <br /> (4) STATE and CITY do mutually desire to cooperate in <br /> STUDY and desire to specify herein the terms and conditions under <br /> which STUDY is to be provided. <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
