No. 4-1054-C <br /> Document No. Ala-1- <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, ENTERED INTO ON , is <br /> <br />between the STATE OF CALIFORNIA, acting by and through its De- <br /> <br />partment of Transportation, referred to herein as "STATE", and <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> a body politic and a municipal <br /> corporation of the State of <br /> California, referred to herein <br /> as "CITY". <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> ( 1 ) STATE and CITY, pursuant to Streets and Highways <br />Code Section 130, are authorized to enter into a cooperative <br />agreement for improvements to State highways within the CITY. <br /> <br /> (2) CITY desires State Highway improvements consisting <br />of (a) Stoneridge Drive/I-680 interchange and auxiliary lanes on <br />1-680 between Stoneridge Drive and 1-580; (b) Hacienda Drive <br />/I-580 interchange and auxiliary lanes on 1-580 between Hopyard <br />Road and Santa Rita Road; and (c) Modifications to the existing <br />Santa Rita Road/I-580 interchange; and is willing to fund 100 <br />percent of all capital outlay and staffing costs. <br /> <br /> (3) CITY and STATE have entered into a Memorandum of <br /> <br />Understanding (MOU) dated June 5, 1986, outlining responsibil- <br />ities fu~ ~nderLaking project ~evelopment activities through a~- <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
