• The project developer shall undertake a detailed, design-level geotechnical <br />investigation and, based upon this investigation, shall submit adesign-level <br />report with the tentative subdivision map that incorporates and further develops <br />the conclusions and recommendations of the existing planning/development level <br />geotechnical report and the comments and recommendations provided by the <br />City's peer review geologist/geotechnical engineer. The report shall be subject to <br />the review and approval by the City Engineer before the Planning Commission's <br />action on the tentative subdivision map. <br />• To ensure that buildings and other subdivision improvements are not damaged <br />by differential settlement at the project site, the report shall include specific <br />recommendations for mitigating potential settlement associated with native soil/fill <br />boundaries and areas of different fill thickness, including recommendations to the <br />City Engineer for dealing with differential cut and fill that would affect building <br />pads, streets, and utilities. <br />• All investigative trenches and test pits not fully excavated during the course of <br />normal site grading and site preparation shall be specifically excavated and <br />brought to grade with properly compacted fill to the satisfaction of the City <br />Engineer. <br />(ii) Remaining Impacts. <br />Any remaining impacts related to differential settlement will be less than significant. <br />Hazards and Hazardous Materials <br />1. Hazardous materials use during construction (pp. 163, 164 and 366-367; <br />Condition 80d, 80f, 83c, 88, and 94 of PUD-33; MMIP G1). <br />a. Potentiallmgact. <br />Improper use, storage, or disposal of hazardous materials during construction activities <br />could result in releases affecting construction workers, the public, and the environment. <br />b.
