CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-384 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN ESTABLISHING THE <br /> SALARY AND SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS FOR CITY ATTORNEY, <br /> PETER D. MACDONALD, AND AMENDING THE BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to set the salary and <br /> supplementary benefits for the position of City <br /> Attorney; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the salary and supplementary benefits for City Attorney <br /> MacDonald were last set July 15, 1986, effective July 1, <br /> 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of changing the current <br /> compensation for the City Attorney to increase his <br /> salary; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The salary and supplementary benefits for City <br /> Attorney, Peter D. MacDonald, effective July 1, 1987, <br /> shall be as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The salary and supplementary benefits set forth in <br /> Resolution No. 86-345 are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 3: The 1987-88 budget of the City of Pleasanton is <br /> amended accordingly. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 18, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None //~~~4~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> K~NN~TH R.
